I just got a new ipod mini, i installed the software no problem but when i tried to sync the music to the player it told me i needed a high speed usb to transfer music. My Computer is about 6 years old now so it may not have all the newest technology.
So I need to know what it is I need and where to get it.
Thank You |

I Also Have Another Question.
Is It Absolutely Necessary To Have SP2 For Windows XP Or Is It Not So Important? |

Depending on what computer you have and how comfortable you are doing it you may be able to add a PCI card that has the USB 2.0 ports on it into your computer. As far as SP2 for XP, the best way to insure that everything is going to work properly on your computer when you are adding new hardware or accessories is to make sure that all the software is up to date. You can try it without the upgrade and if it doesn't work then install SP2 and go from there.
That was the long answer! The short answer with this being a Mac Mini website is to buy a Mac!!!! Headache gone!!! _________________ 13' Macbook 2.0ghz C2D w/2gb RAM and 120gb HD

THe computer industry has advanced so much in the last 6 years. I think the best thing for you to do is look for a used mac mini on CL or on this site and start from there.
If you have absolutely no money, then yes, go spend 10 bucks on a PCI card and try to update your Windows with SP2 cuz you really do need it with the latest iTunes.
