I'm ording my first mac before the end of the week. I am interested in the Mac Mini. I plan on getting the 1.25 with 512 and the 40 gig hard drive. I already have a 40gb ipod and have used macs for years but could never bring myself around to buying one. I am convinced now, and just want to get some opinions by people who already have mini's as to weather I am making the smart buy or not. _________________ Never knock on Death's door. So your mini would have the same size hard drive as your iPod? That's funny. I'm using my mini for web browsing, email, news reading, etc. I've even played around with xCode. So far it works like a champ. _________________ Mac mini powered up on 2-11-2005 |

| I've had my Mini since March 1st & couldn't be more pleased with it. Even demanding programs like Final Cut Express HD work fine with it. I bought the 80GB unit with 512MB ram. I have 24MB free space left! Fortunately I have access to firewire and network drives with lots of available space. My 20GB iTunes library sits on a 40GB firewire drive, otherwise I'd be in trouble! |
