Apple Releases iPhoto 9.6.1 Update

Apple today released the iPhoto 9.6.1 update via the Mac App Store. According to the company, this update includes the following improvements:

- Improves compatibility when migrating iPhoto libraries to the new Photos app in the OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 (available this spring).
- Fixes an issue that caused iPhoto to display only the first 25 images in a Facebook album.
- Fixes an issue that could cause iPhoto to become unresponsive when printing an image.

The iPhoto 9.6.1 update weighs in at 1.14 GB and requires OS X 10.10 or later.

I thought Mac was dropping iPhoto ?

They are ending support when the new Photos app comes out. This update is probably the last to assist in migration.

great they released a update for 10.10.3 however iPhoto gets deleted with the latest release of that update and replaced with photo's
