Apple Releases OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 Update

Apple today released the OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 Update via their Mac App Store and website for direct download. According to the company, this update is recommended for all Yosemite users and includes the following improvements:

- Resolves an issue that may cause Wi-Fi to disconnect.
- Resolves an issue that may cause web pages to load slowly.
- Fixes an issue that caused Spotlight to load remote email content when the preference was disabled in Mail.
- Improves audio and video sync when using Bluetooth headphones.
- Adds the ability to browse iCloud Drive in Time Machine.
- Improves VoiceOver speech performance.
- Resolves an issue that causes VoiceOver to echo characters when entering text on a web page.
- Addresses an issue that may cause the input method to switch languages unexpectedly.
- Improves stability and security in Safari.

The OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 Update also includes Safari 8.0.3. The OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 update weighs in at 554.3 MB and requires OS X Yosemite 10.10.1.

I can't read or speak French, but the headline ending "pred du retard" doesn't sound good for being released on time.

I will just resume what they say:
Apple does not mention Photo anymore except a mention of a future release with no timetable. According to the article they want to make certain that there are no major bug before releasing this software to avoid criticism.

Well, their track record on recent updates hasn't been the greatest. I would rather them get it right than just rush it out the door. Then again, it seems like they announced the app a looooong time ago. Perhaps a lot of the software people have been shifted towards helping with the Apple Watch. Who knows. Apple has become pretty slow with everything. Their success has given them this luxury.

Yes and it's a shame. For the moment I keep 10.8 on my Mini and 10.7 on my laptop that's for sure...
