Has anyone attempted the install of OS 9 on a Mini?
I have numerous applications that run on OS 9 and loved it maybe as much if not more than OS X.
What's the big roadblock with OS 9 being installed on modern macs?

can you not install OS9 in conjuction with OS X?? ("classic mode" or whatever it is they call it?)

I'm pretty sure my Mac mini came with both the disk for OSX and the disk for OS 9 with the intention that OS 9 can be installed under OSX. I think there's even config options in system preferences for OS 9.

Until recently, I had only OS 9 running on my old G4 400 PM. I think it works better as a stand-alone than running under "classic". I still would have OS X running on two systems...so I really wouldn't be dumping it completely.
