I just recently bought a mac mini to be used as I travel (I travel most of the time) and I want to purchase a portable monitor to be used with it. Could anyone recommend me one? I want full HD, no driver installations, lightweight.

I found this: GeChic 1303H http://www.icitouchtech.com/#!portable-monitor/cyeg

Anyone have any previous experience with GeChic?

Wow; this looks interesting. I didn't know that such devices existed. I assume that there's no way to use an iPad or an iPad mini as an auxiliary monitor?

Can you use an ipad as a monitor with the mini? I've never tried that before.

I just googled the question and came up with an app that supposedly allows one to use an iPad as a second screen on a Mac; the app is Air Display and costs $20. I just emailed the company to find out if it works on an iPad mini.
