This might not fit in with the rules, but...

One of the guys from the former XLR8YOURMAC board has five copies of 10.6.3 up on eBay for $18 each.

Are you aware that Apple will ship it to your door for $19.99.

There was also a family pack on the site a while back for $30 (I think). It's not on the store any longer but you might be able to order it still.

I didn't know if Apple was still selling it or not.

Most people do not. That's why I thought I'd point it out.
On Amazon it's $29.89 and it doesn't even ship for free.

I'm not sure why Apple makes the Snow Leopard so inaccessible. You can't even purchase it at an Apple Store.

You can't even find it on Apple's website unless you click on "Store" then type Snow Leopard. You won't find it under "software".

There was a time when Amazon was selling it for $60, because Apple had absolutely pulled it from their website.

Apple is a very strange company at times. As much as we like to defend Apple as Apple fans. Apple really does it's best to push people towards purchasing new hardware, but then they turn around and release a product like Mavericks, which breathes new life into older hardware... but then you need Snow Leopard to download it. Smile

That was one of the things that Jobs changed. Apple can't make money if people are using their Macs forever.
