I was involved in a wreck today with four guys from work. A woman t-boned our Astro Van coming through a red light. Two of the guys were hurt pretty bad and will need surgery on either their hips and legs. I'm not really sure yet. The other guy sitting in front of me just went through the ER and was released with minor injuries. The woman was flown to a level one trauma center in Atlanta. Not really sure about her status. I don't think she is well though. I have a broken bone and torn tendon in my left forearm from reaching out to brace the impact. They said that I'll need surgery either tomorrow or on Friday or I could have decreased motion going forward. I also have some cuts and scrapes on my face that needed to be stitched up. They should be fine though. Oh well, quite a scary experience. Don't get scared if I don't reply back. No tech here, but my phone. lol

Sorry to hear about the accident. It sounds like it was bad, but could have easily been much worse.

Get well. Best of luck to all of you.

Thanks dudes!

I was hoping for some time off of work, but certainly not like this. I'm just glad that no one in our van got killed. Like Bandit said, it could have been much worse.

Sounds like you've had a lucky escape devo, but a very scary experience non the less, especially considering the state of the others involved

More thanks!

I had great news this morning. I'll be able to go home tonight and don't require surgery at this time. I saw an orthopedic specialist this morning and he said my tear should be able to heal on its own. I will have a cast on my arm for 6-8 weeks though. Mostly for the broken wrist.

My wife was able to find out more about the woman that wrecked into us. She is in stable condition after having surgery last night. She has two broken legs that required pins and stuff like that.

The guys on the passenger side that took the brunt force also had surgery this morning. It was on their legs, not their hips. They are reported to be doing well too. My wife was able to speak with their families.

Holy crap, that took long to type. lol
