I have a question; if I upgrade the processor on my MM to 2.33ghz and upgrade the Ram to 4GB ( this only gives me 3.1GB, I think), would I be able to run something like Final Cut Pro? I want to edit my Gopro videos but I don't think I'll have enough VRAM to run this program. Anyone offer any advice or is my only option to sell my MM and get an IMac?

If your mini is a Core Duo, then it won't recognize the RAM until you do the firmware hack that upgrades the firmware.

The "VRAM" in your mini is not memory dependent and will not increase with more memory.

The current version of Final Cut Pro X doesn't appear to accept anything less than the Intel HD 3000 which is beyond the Intel 950 in your mini.

Actually you could run final cut pro!!!

go to amazon and purchase a new copy of the older final cut studio you can still do hd and even sd and it works on that model unless you really think you need that many bells and whistles ???
