Hi, After the latest update, FireFox (22.0) has suddenly put up a 'ShopAtHome' toolbar under my BookMark toolbar. I know I can go to 'View'- 'Toolbars' - and uncheck the SAH toolbar to rid the damn bar ... however, if you open a new FF window or close and re-open FF, the SAH bar shows up every time! It is veryyy annoying and takes up space from browser window. Anyone knows how to get rid of this thing? (I didn't subscribe or request this horrible toolbar.) Thanks

Hi, Found solution from FF site: go to 'Tools' - 'Add-ons' - 'extensions' - find the toolbar you want to rid - 'Remove' - 'restart'. All done.

Ok, now FF updated to 23.0 and suddenly it decided to set a 3rd bar (under bookmark bar) to list all tabs EVEN THERE IS NO NEW TABS BUT ONLY THE ORIGINAL SINGLE WEBSITE! This bar was supposed to be up only when 2 or more tabs are open, but now it's always there when FF is open. Anyone one know how to rid this bar when no new tab is open? Thanks

I would venture to guess it's somewhere in the about:config screen and would have something to do with top tabs.

I dont have FF, but go to settings or preferences, "set homepage" and see if 2 URL's are listed there, if so delete one..

Although this experience was devastating at first i would say that was a pretty good haul for not having any serious problems. My problem was having to much faith in the reliability of my mac it's been so faithful. I keep putting off an external drive for time machine. I do the occasional save stuff but nothing serious. It took a long time to get this up running without it feeling like and empty shell. Gonna enjoy SL for a bit see how bad I Jones for messaging. I miss that already and share ( maybe more), and sort of the newer mail but the more I get used to the old one its pretty slick too.

Honestly i wasn't happy with the new firefox because the shop at home plugin is basically a piece of malware and worse windows vista windows 7 windows 8 windows 8.1 and even mcafee and norton list it as a virus plugin and on mac it's no better its basically adware that keeps track of what you buy online and hounds you with ads on shopping deals.

I really wish the firefox team didn't include this plugin inside firefox.
