Less than impressed with them - won't go into details but I've bought my last item from them and won't be buying any more.

Thank you for this thread about OWC it has saved me, I suspect, a great deal of trouble.

I recalled their good reputation from my earlier visits here, and was about to buy RAM, and an OWC SSD, to update my 2005 G4 Mac mini (still running perfectly in daily use after 9 years, you'll be pleased to read.)

So the OWC purpose built SSD for the G4 mini seemed ideal for me.

However when I contacted OWC customer support to ask some simple questions about payment and shipping, their attitude, answers, and behaviour, seemed strangely at odds with the image I had of them.

So I popped back here, read this thread carefully, and all now falls into place.

I had an uneasy sense about OWC before, now I know why.

Thank you all.

I'll let my G4 tick into its tenth year without opening it, except to change the little watch battery that had gone 4 years past its shelf-life.

I'd love to slap an SSD into my G4 mini to bring it back from beyond!

Too bad it's an OWC item. Sad
