| Nice update Apple and worth the wait. Safari is using a lot less ram, Intel HD 4000 graphics are now fantastic and the white washout is gone. Mountain Lion is nice and stable.... I am no longer missing Snow Leopard. |

Do you really think there is a big difference from LION to Mountain Lion? |

Yes. Would you like instructions on how to use Google to research and decide for yourself how different they are?

Mountain Lion is a major update to Lion. I mentioned in the other thread that Snow Leopard is my favourite OS, but there is no way I would choose Lion over Mountain Lion.

Lion was premature and it will remain that way. It would be similar to being stuck with Vista on a PC.
I realize that you don't really have anything to compare it to, so you'll have to trust me.
That being said World Wide Developers Conference is coming up in June and I imagine we will see another OS in July. If cash is limited, you might want to wait until July for the next OS, if not, I'd upgrade now. Security and stability updates alone make it worthwhile, not to mention being able to have fun by keeping current. You seem to be using your computer for hobby, so why not enjoy it more, while it's still new. |

Perhaps, but only when it comes to the most basic of questions such as the ones that you usually ask. You know the ones, they almost always have absolutely nothing to do with the thread at hand.

| loading time sucks safari still takes forever to load but i admit the o.s is much more responsive |

Sorry to the OP for hijacking, I agree though, 10.8.3 is a nice one and seems to have fixed a few of the bugs that were a bit bothersome
