|
|
The "restore windows" feature is driving me up the wall, because disabling it seems impossible.
I have gone into the General Pane and unsuccessfully disabled "Restore windows when quitting and re-opening applications."
I have downloaded Tinkertool and used the appropriate setting to disable the "restore windows" feature for my browsers. This worked once, but has since failed.
Now I have read about a workaround that involves locking a Safari file in the Library as a remedy, but it is ridiculous that I should have to do that.
Since System Preferences has a "restore windows" option, but since it's not working, is this whole issue a Lion bug? |

| I believe so. I mean, it never worked right for me in Lion. I have no problems for whatever reason in Mountain Lion though. Perhaps it's just time to upgrade if you can. I think it's well worth it for the overall bug fixes and feature set. |
