They are $210. I forgot the zero.
I respectfully disagree with your comments LaCie's frying. I read many positive reviews about this drive. Therefore, I'm taking a chance on one. |

My store has sold tens of thousands of LaCie drives. There have been a few isolated issues with some of them, but overall, my opinion of LaCie is very good. Most of our customers come in asking for them by name because of positive experiences.
Is it just the Thunderbolt models that have had issues. Is there any evidence that LaCie has a known issue and is choosing to ignore it and they continue to pump out product with known defects, including refurbished models? This doesn't mirror my experience or my customers experience or that of my service department. |

Awesome! I just ordered one.
I have nothing but positive things to say about LaCie. In fact, they are my preferred choice when it comes to external hard drives. I also think they build the best enclosures. They are solid and heavy duty. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

| This seems like a good deal to me. I can't even find a Thunderbolt enclosure for a SSD in the same price range. So if this model is user serviceable (need to research about this mode more), why not I ask? Being a LaCie, you know it's going to be built well. |
