I wouldn't recommend Photoshop for a novice. Most powerful for long-term, but potentially the most daunting. Aperture and Lightroom are probably the best for those that want canned post processing work with some very nice power behind them. Also quite a bit of money savings over PS.

| I use aperture and most of the plugins that are in photoshop are available in aperture and even better they also work with lightroom so i recommend both of them as well they work amazingly |
