Neither is better than the other necessarily, it's a personal choice. I dislike wires so prefer wireless. _________________ 2.0 GHz i7 Mini 8 GB RAM, OWC Merc Extreme SSD & Samsung Spinpoint

Me too. I really like the older wired Apple keyboard with numpad.

It's solid with a low profile and it's really unobtrusive. I do wish that it had black keys though. Mine are starting to look really cruddy.
I'm actually getting close to needed another mouse too. The old wired Mighty Mouse is about shot. The roller doesn't work that well anymore and the plastic band going around the bottom has cracked. I'm probably going to buy another mouse after I pay off my new Mac mini. I'm not crazy about the Magic Mouse, so I'm not sure what to get. Suggestions? |

I gave up with the Mighty Mouse after having loads of problems with the ball sticking. I went through 4 of them in just over a year at which point I gave up and bought a couple of Logitech mice and I've never had a problem with them since.
My Mac Mini has a wired MX400 and the iMac a wireless Performance MX.

I am still using my Logitech White S530 wireless, like the feel of it and ability to program keys so I can jump between 3 desktops. Wish it was Bluetooth but other then that it's great. I use 2 rechargeable AAA batteries that last 3-4 months.
At work I use the wired Apple keyboard, wire doesn't bother me at all. But wired mice drive me crazy. _________________ iMac 24" 2.4 GHz 4GB | Logitech S530 | Z-2300 speakers | NewerTech Guardian MAXimus RAID

+1. Wired keyboards don't bother me either. Having a tail on a mouse is another story though. I can actually see myself moving away from the mouse altogether over the next few years. I have a feeling that it's going to become more of a trackpad type world. Especially with all of the gestures being added in OS X and Windows. It's going to be products like the Magic Trackpad and this taking over. Even more so on products without a touchscreen. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)
