Apple Releases iOS 6.0.1 Update

iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users take note. Apple just released the iOS 6.0.1 update via iTunes and as an over-the-air update on each device. According to the company, this update includes the following improvements and bug fixes:
- Fixes a bug that prevents iPhone 5 from installing software updates wirelessly over the air.
- Fixes a bug where horizontal lines may be displayed across the keyboard.
- Fixes an issue that could cause camera flash to not go off.
- Improves reliability of iPhone 5 and iPod touch (5th generation) when connected to encrypted WPA2 Wi-Fi networks.
- Resolves an issue that prevents iPhone from using the cellular network in some instances.
- Consolidated the Use Cellular Data switch for iTunes Match.
- Fixes a Passcode Lock bug which sometimes allowed access to Passbook pass details from lock screen.
- Fixes a bug affecting Exchange meetings.
The iOS 6.0.1 update is compatible with the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, 4th-generation iPod touch, 5th-generation iPod touch, iPad 2, and iPad 3.

This update fixed and issue that I was having with an iPad 3 unlocking the screen. It wouldn't let me swipe to unlock when first starting it up. I needed to let the screen go dark, push on one of the buttons, and then unlock the screen. It wasn't that big of a deal, but it just wasn't right. | i just hope they fixed the sim card not installed problem where i am having to remove and put back in my sim on my iphone and ipad |
