Yep all is ok.
Click the Apple in the upper left.
Open System Preferences
Click on Dock
Uncheck the box by "Automatically Hide...: _________________ iMac 24" 2.4 GHz 4GB | Logitech S530 | Z-2300 speakers | NewerTech Guardian MAXimus RAID

I'm having a heck of a time understanding your issue to be honest. You might post a screen cap, other wise I feel like I'm being no help to you. _________________ iMac 24" 2.4 GHz 4GB | Logitech S530 | Z-2300 speakers | NewerTech Guardian MAXimus RAID

Wow Really!!!
Look up A-Dock in google
And i can answer this very easy.
Read your system specs it requires mac os 10.4 or later so if you installed it in leopard or snow leopard or lion or mountain lion you messed up your o.s you now have to reinstall your o.s sorry this is why i dont use a-dock it messes up your o.s

Uh... A-Dock is a universal binary that runs on anything from 10.4 to 10.7.1. Which is what I think they mean by 10.4 or later, not earlier.
Even going to the link you listed, people are saying it runs in 10.6.7 (currently the very top comment) to some saying it works in 10.8, and some saying it still doesn't work in 10.7.2.
So how did djdenid mess up his OS when you don't even know what OS djdenid is running?

Issue at hand...
I have Dock which is part of Mac OS & A-Dock which I purchased. Finder
always opens along with Trash when you open A-dock on your desktop. I by accident hit HideFINDER, there is NO OPEN FINDER anywhere... The Finder icon in Dock along left side under big apple is working so I'll have to adjust.
Thanks anyway for trying, I've spent all weekend installing and uninstalling
everything I could find to get it back... even a newer version of A-Dock
no FINDER, no quit all open paths, no quit/close A-Dock ? Everything else works fine in A-Dock, just wish i could get the FINDER back in the dock. |

Have you tried contacting the A-Dock developer?
