2 is enough. I have it that way on my Air. Some say ML runs faster than Lion but I haven't seen that.
That being said, 4GBytes will make things snappier. |

More memory will speed things up and make it run quicker.
I have ML running on a 2GB MBP 2.4GHz and it runs ok but we do get occasional beach balls (spinning disc saying the computer is busy) whilst the computer tries to keep up, but it does run ok. My MacMini has 4GB and I get very few beach balls compared to the MBP but starting something like iPhoto does cause a beach ball for a 5 seconds or so. _________________ Phil

I have 2 gigs of memory running the latest LION OS and I never had a beach ball effect. |
