Screen Sharing with Sound....HELP...NO SOUND

Screen Sharing with two Mac's
using LION has never been easier.
I almost never used Screen Sharing
in the past because of the App's
unreliability with Snow Leopard
or older OS's....at least for me.

I've had no problem using Wi-Fi
to Share my mini's desktop with
the Air, that is the mini's Desktop
is on the Air's Display using the
Macs native Screen Sharing App.

I don't know if this is a problem
but I don't hear any sound from
the mini. The mini's Desktop
shows up just fine on the Air
but only the Desktop is displayed
with NO SOUND.

Before I start Googling for a solution
is it working correctly with no sound
being transmitted or should their be
sound?

In a Nut Shell, I get a picture
with no sound while Screen
Sharing. Is this correct?

You should be getting sound, from the mini.
I have an eyeTV connected to my mini, but use screen sharing to watch the TV on my G5 powermac because I like the monitor screen better.
The picture show on the G5 while the sound still comes from the mini's external speakers.

I get sound from the mini. The mini is running
EyeTV. I don't get EyeTV sound from the Screen
Share of the mini on the MacBook Air. I hope
that explanation is clear enough.

HA, HA, HA........ I get sound from the mini
which is running EyeTV. The MBA using the
Screen Sharing App. can see the EyeTV
App. running on the mini's Desktop but not
hear the EyeTV App. running on the minis
Desktop..........sorry for any confusion.

So, should I or shouldn't I be able to BOTH
see and hear the EyeTV App. running on the
mini's Desktop while viewing it through
Screen Sharing on the MBAir?

I would think, judging from Apples choice of labels (screen sharing) that what you see is all you're going to get.

So I've googled for hours trying to solve
my No Sound while Screen Sharing problem
and its working as designed.

jb is correct.........as usual. Its SCREEN
SHARING not Screen and Sound Sharing.
