|
|
| I got a 90's playlist in itunes I was wondering how can I make different decades? Say an 80's, 70's, or 60's playlist. Is there a setting I can go into to add this? |

It will detect all music from that decade? The one from the 90's if you put it on iTunesdj and select that playlist it will play nothing but albums from that decade.
Yeah just tried it doesn't work. |

| yes all you need to do is place all the 80's music and 90's music and 70's music into the playlist and name it 80's 90's and what ever else then cick on the playlist and play the first song and it will play all other songs in the playlist |

It's very easy to do. You need to make "Smart Playlists"
Right click on the 90's playlist and duplicate it
Repeat for multiple decades
Now, just change the playlist name and the dates.
Now whenever you add songs from those years to your iTunes library, they will automatically show up in their appropriate playlist. |

Yep! This answer is correct. You'll have to be sure there is date metadata as well. Seems to me not all of Apple purchases music has correct metadata for year releases, I could be wrong about that though. Probably more important for personal rips. _________________ 2.0 GHz i7 Mini 8 GB RAM, OWC Merc Extreme SSD & Samsung Spinpoint
