Apple Releases Updated Brother Printer Drivers

Apple has released Brother Printer Drivers 2.9 for OS X via their Software Update Utility and website for direct download. According to the company, this update installs the latest Brother printing and scanning software for Lion and Snow Leopard. A complete list of the supported printers can be found here. Brother Printer Drivers 2.9 for OS X weighs in at 156.4MB and requires Mac OS X 10.6.1 or later.

| You know i think it's great to update printer drivers but have you noticed they still cannot get the brother printer series to work right |

I've been holding off on my updated Brother drivers for at least two updates after one manged to totally mess up my ability to print. I'm almost afraid to give this update a try.
