Windows has never been officially supported
by Microsoft to boot from an external USB
Drive. Its looking like Windows 8 will be. _________________ 2011 Mac mini 2.7 GHz i7 with

That's cool, for both PC and Mac owners.
Lots of people want to run Windows with their Mac but not ON their Mac.
Thanks for sharing the info. |

Awesome idea except for one issue...
Thats going to be one big usb thumb drive for it to work...
and worse still i woudn't install windows 8 it is always connected to the internet and always dials home to prevent hacking which means you couldn't customize anything on the o.s without it deactivating you |

You don't need to use a Thumb Drive.
I think Microsoft is setting up Win8 to
be used on an external SSD connected
via USB-3. Sounds quite useable. _________________ 2011 Mac mini 2.7 GHz i7 with
