CUDA updates on nvidia geforce 9400M?

Has anyone every downloaded and installed the updates for the CUDA drivers for Nvidia from the Nvidia website?

Interested in understanding if this would help the graphics card or not.

mac mini late 2009 2.26/4G/160G with 9400M Nvidia with GPU

CUDA, if I recall correctly, is for using the GPU to do computational operations, not graphical operations. So I'm not sure how you would have it help the GPU.
