if you can look past Windows 8 and towards Windows 10, these things look really promising.

These might be interesting, technically, but don't any PC makers have any sense of aesthetics? These boxes look like something one would use for food storage!

My brother bought his son the HP Stream 14" laptop for Christmas. You wanna talk about a nice laptop for $229. The thing has an aluminum body and zero flex. Performance isn't bad either. Heck, I'm thinking about getting one for myself.

I don't think they look horrible, but I will never look at them tne same way now. Laughing

BTW: You can upgrade the RAM on these to 16GB with DIMMS. Take that Apple....

I've been watching videos about these on YouTube. They are totally upgradable. The cheap one even as an extra drive tray for more expansion beyond mSATA. So I'm seriously thinking about getting one for Windows 10.
