Apple has released the iTunes 10.6.1 Update via their Software Update Utility and website for direct download. According to the company, this update provides a number of improvements, including:
- Fixes several issues that may cause iTunes to unexpectedly quit while playing videos, changing artwork size in Grid view, and syncing photos to devices.
- Addresses an issue where some iTunes interface elements are incorrectly described by VoiceOver and WindowEyes.
- Fixes a problem where iTunes may become unresponsive while syncing iPod nano or iPod shuffle.
- Resolves an ordering problem while browsing TV episodes in your iTunes library on Apple TV.
The iTunes 10.6.1 Update weighs in at 126MB and requires Mac OS X 10.5.8 or later.

| I was having occasional troubles with AirTunes/AirPlay after the last update. Sometimes it would take two or three attempts to connect to our AirPort Express from iTunes, which isn't the norm. So I hope this update helps. |

Me too it was driving me crazy. I didn't know if it was that or an airport bug. Sometimes i would even get a delay from my computer speakers to my home stereo. It wasn't syncing right and then it wouldn't connect at all sometimes. I would reboot and it still wouldn't I had to unplug the airport at times. Then it would work. |

| Nope didn't fix my problem. Apple is getting worse and worse it seems. That's an important fix. |
