| Hi, I am not sure my post (topic) is on the right group. Any way, here goes: I am using the "Free File Fillable Forms.com" to file my fed tax return. The site provides all the "fillable" forms for users to fill them and e-file returns to IRS for free. You can always (before and after e-file) print the forms you want, but in order to keep a copy of forms in your computer they require that you set default printer to Adobe PDF to catch the file from their site. I just don't know how or even if it can be done on my mac mini? Can anyone shed a light on this? Thanks |

That just has the effect of creating a pdf file
instead of creating a print job and sending it
to your chosen printer.
I would create the pdf file for storage on your
Macs Hard Drive then print it from the pdf file
if you require a hard copy.

Thanks, Bill.
I went to the site trying the way you mentioned. Surprisingly and fortunately, when I click "print this form" after the form displayed in FF, it pop up asking app for opening or "save" the file. Of course I choose saving the pdf file. No need to even enter print mode. Still thanks lot for your response. |
