how do i get my logitech wireless keyboard and mouse to work

I just bought a new mac mini and trying to figure out how to get my logitech k800 wireless keyboard and my logitech 505 mouse to work,i installed the unifying recievers in the back of the mac mini but nothing happens.this is so frustrating i called apple support but they want $59.00 to answer my question even though i just bought this mac today! I want to surf can someone help me? thanks in advance !!

From checking support sites, it appears that that keyboard is, at best, compatible with 10.6. For some reason, it might not be compatible with 10.7.

If you bought it at an Apple store, or a place that supports the computers they sell, then I would take it all back and tell ask them what's wrong.

I have the k800 it is great but only works for me with snow leopard or windows 7.

The shame is the k800 is back lite and the k750 is not.
