I'm actually thinking about buying an Apple TV. I mean, if you buy into the rumors that a new one is going to drop today.

I'm sure the new iPad is going to be great too. I just don't have a reason to upgrade at this point. We already have the original and two iPad 2's, which I probably should have tried to sell around Christmas time. Then I would be ready to upgrade today. Sad

It seems like everyone in our school district this talking about this event today. I'm surprised they didn't set up displays for the students to watch like they did way back for the moon landings. Laughing

I'm most excited about the iPad 3. Here's hoping that it even exceeds my expectations!

The new iPad has 3.1 million pixels. I hope mine doesn't come with a dead one.

I was hoping for the A6 and 8MP camera, but it's still a really nice update. The new Apple TV sounds like more of the same at 1080p. I'm not saying that's bad, but what they needed was apps.

No complaints here. I look forward to purchasing the iPad 3 for the Retina display alone. The photo's I take with my Nikon will look fantastic on it. No more fuzzy text either.

I recently purchased an TV 2. Until an untethered jailbreak comes out for the TV 3, I'm definitely sticking with the 2. I'm glad I got one of the last ones available. I had to go to quite a few stores to get one.

A 16GB iPad 2 is now $399. How much do you think I can get now Bandit Bill? Wink

$300-$350. It depends on what the refurbs now go for. Does it have AppleCare? If so you may get more.

Btw I noticed the wink.

I'm actually working on a matrix for our store right now on what we will pay for used iPad 1's and 2's. It's not that easy to come up with a fair value for so many different models. Especially if you want to work with retail numbers like 499, 399. I still need to find out what refurbs will go for and try to be fair to e erroneous. The seller, the buyer and our store.

Hope you didn't take that the wrong way. I just meant that we talked about it before.

I haven't bought AppleCare for it. I have a couple months left to decide. At this point, I should probably pass. Don't you think?

Not at all. It is what it is. We both knew what was coming. It's the reality of it.

I was going to trade my iPad 1 into out store yesterday, but I hung on to it. I really don't want to be without it, while waiting for the new one. I'll deal with it after I get my iPad 3.

It's not like we are day trading millions of dollars worth of stock here.

I personally believe an iPad 1 or an iPad 2 no matter was model will at least have a value of a couple hundred bucks. After all what are the alternatives. Most people would still rather have a 16GB Wifi only iPad 1 over any other tablet.

Sorry to go off topic, forum.
