Developer preview 2 was seeded to developers with a new shock in order to install this preview it now will verify with apple and the app store to prevent piracy of mountain lion.
With the amount of piracy on mac os x lion and snow leopard server and consumer base it looks like apple is doing there best to keep people from downloading there works via bit torrent and file locker sites.
Update:
Seems if you have a 2010 mac mini unibody you cannot run this preview???
maybe a version for different machine types. |

Fair enough.
Apple's prices are so reasonable, nobody should steal their software. |
