Apple Releases iMac Graphic FW Update 3.0

Apple has released the iMac Graphic FW Update 3.0 via their Software Update Utility and website for direct download. According to the company, this firmware update fixes a graphics issue that may cause an iMac to hang under certain conditions. The iMac Graphic FW Update 3.0 weighs in at 481KB and requires Mac OS X Lion 10.7 or later.

| They really need to do this for the early 09 mac mini. Big time needed. I would probably love LION if they would get rid of the graphics glitches that is everywhere. I think they just want that machine to die off as quick as possible. |

I've read there's a glitch with the latest Intel graphics, so you're not necessarily alone.
I only have problem with Safari in Lion. Every once in a while it freezes up and everything gets blurry in the window. I don't know if that would be considered a graphics glitch or not. It mostly happens when you are swiping back and forth between pages.
