I'll keep it short and sweet. Im under the impression that the newer mini with the AMD 6630m video card will not do lossless audio/bitstream via OSX and Plex. Is it possible to install Windows 7 and take advantage of lossless audio since the 6630m does support those audio formats?

I am not sure the hardware can deal with lossless. Mac OS does not and Plex does not either.

Rumor has it that converting the HD audio to FLAC suddenly makes OS X happy. Of course your receiver won't say DTS HD or TrueHD, but it will be the same sound quality. Or so they say.
I can't get it to work with Plex or VLC 2, but it does work with the current XBMC beta.
Otherwise, yes you can install Windows7 on your mini.
