Cannot Makeup My Mind

I just recently purchased an iMac 2011 and bumped it u to 8GB of memory. It runs awesome, but I am thinking about exchanging it for a Mac Mini and iPad 2 so I can utilize the iCloud. When I purchased the iMac I did not have enough to purchase the iPad 2 along with it.

What should I do? Should I hang on to my iMac or exchange it for the standard mini and the iPad. My main concern is how is the Mac Mini going to perform compared to my iMac. I hear they are really slow, because of the 5400 rpm hard drives and because of the core 2 duo I5 processor.

Any advice offered would be greatly appreciated.

Your current iMac will spank the Mac mini.
I suggest you keep it and save up for one more month. The iPad 3 will likely be announced (March 07, 2012).

I have a 24" iMac at home as well as a Mini, at work I use a Mini. Hands down I would keep your iMac and save up to by an iPad 3 or consider a refurb iPad 2 if the 3's don't impress you.

Thanks for all of the great feedback. I have decided to keep my iMac and see if it is worthwhile to purchase the iPad 3. If not I will be buying the iPad 2 and hopefully there will be a price cut since the new 3rd generation iPad is coming out.
