Mav Mini Power Supply

I have a late 2009 MM i use purely for audio.
I'm wondering if its possible to buy an alternative power supply. The flex to the power brick and from the brick to the MM in my opinion are very long and look quite messy in the rack.
I considered buying a second hand power supply and butchering it but i'm sure i read somewhere that there is something unusual about the power supplies to mac minis (not a standard twin and earth)
Any advice is appreciated.
