Apple has released Security Update 2012-001 v1.1 via their Software Update Utility. According to the company, this update is recommended for all users and improves the security of Mac OS X Snow Leopard. It also reportedly addresses an issue with opening PPC-based applications using Rosetta. An issue that many users were having trouble with after the first version of the update was released. Security Update 2012-001 v1.1 weighs in at 192 MB and requires Mac OS X 10.6.8.

I'm glad they came out with a fix right away, but I'm still a little mad.
I think one thing is clear though. No one at Apple or their beta testers must use PPC apps anymore. |

| I have a new Mac mini with Lion. On the older Mac mini with SL, I still use Office 2004 and Photoshop CS2. |
