A D Link router ( dsl-2750b) from Verizon used to have a apple extreme but it bit the dust ( I think a storm took it out it won't power up). Network preferences just says ethernet not connected. I bought a new cable not to long ago to test it doesn't work. I normally use wifi because i had issues before with my apple router even, but now it does not work at all.

Update: Called Verizon we did some test looks like my port on the back of my mini is fried. Did some test thought for sure it was my modem but ran some test and the Lan light finally popped up when it got a descent connection on the other end. I brought my apple tv in to my computer room and plugged in the other end and it lit up. Not sure how to replace one of them not sure I want too. LOL
