I have:
Macintosh HD:
Capacity: 111.35 GB
Available: 38.35 GB
any opinions on if this is too full?
im getting some degradation of performance...
not sure why....
also, BTW, my mini is 2,1... is that a 2008? I think it originally came with 1or2Gb ram but I upgraded to 4 (3). I bought it new at christmas time the year i bought it... im just not sure and it seems when i search the forum i see that people refer to their model by year... _________________ mini 2.0Ghz Core2Duo, 4Gb RAM, 120Gb HDD

Well I have no scientific proof or anything, but since you asked for an opinion, I try to keep at least of 1/3 of my drive empty, because after that I have noticed the whole kit and caboodle (a scientific term) starts to acts hinky as I go above that and close in on 1/4 free. _________________ '08 MacMini C2D/2.0/RAM4GB

I try to not let my HDD get below 20% free space. And definitely never below 10% free space.
Right now you're at about 28% free space. _________________ 2011 Mini Server (5,3)- 2.0Ghz i7 Quad-core; 8GB RAM; 2x750GB 7200rpm |
