|
|
I recently bought 2010 Mac mini.I have also purchased Logitech C310 webcam. Reason: mostly SKYPE. Webcam works perfect until Mac goes to sleep. When it awakes and I turn on SKYPE camera is on but mic is off.
Up to now, the only solution was to disconnect and reconnect the Webcam.
Now I discovered easier solution:When computer wakes up I turn on a PhotoBooth app. When I see camera came on, I shut off the PhotoBooth and turn on the SKYPE. I was looking all over for perfectly compatible Webcam with Mac mini. I did not find one !

Actually i can help you out with a perfect solution if you are interested.
Go to your local electronics retailer and purchase a cheap bluetooth headset that you can use with your macintoshes bluetooth connection.
Now if you want a out of the box webcam that is mac compatible interesting enough it is the xbox 360 web cam just plug it in and go thats it. |

Thank you for your advise. I wish I knew this one before I had purchased my Logitech C310. Because it's a minor problem, I think I shall live with that.
Thanks again !
Happy Holidays.
