Ok...the menu section on the left of the photos where it list various things of what you might want to do...to make special collections of certain photos. Like I got to go to Tuscany on a 2 week painting trip & I had certain photos in a folder that I want ed to paint. Had a folder of paintings that I had already done...etc...
All of a sudden it disappeared... realistically I know I must of done something...but I have no Idea what!
It is similar to the menu in iTunes .....Thanks for asking |

Ok, thank you. If you launch iPhoto and then
choose "File" from your Menu Bar that runs
along the top of your desktop, then choose
"New Album".......what happens? _________________ 2011 Mac mini 2.7 GHz i7 with

Sounds like what you are missing is the "Source List"
Close iPhoto...
Go to ~/Library/Preferences/ then locate and delete the com.apple.iPhoto.plist
Restart iPhoto
PLease check back with the results. |

If by "it" you mean the plist file, no need to reinstall as a new one was created when you restarted iPhoto. |
