I have a new 3.5" 1TB caviar green SATA am thinking that if I could get another one and build a 2 bay enclosure FW enclosure for all the other data that I would like to RAID ( I will have only a 120 Vertex 3 internally ) seems to me a Mac newbie in every sense ...that most guys use 2.5 form factor for external is there a reason ...like limited power from the MM PS , or ??
all thoughts appreciated
thanks |

If they make the case small, it can fit in a pocket and be easily transported.
Also, if the device is buspowered, then you don't know how much power any system that might be using it, is capable of suppling.
