Apple late yesterday released the Thunderbolt Software Update 1.1 for Snow Leopard via their Software Update Utility and website for direct download. This update addresses an issue that causes some users of the Apple Thunderbolt Display to experience intermittent black screens. It also includes stability improvements for other Thunderbolt devices. The Thunderbolt Software Update 1.0 weighs in at 53.23MB and requires Mac OS X 10.6.8.

| There sure have been a lot of Thunderbolt updates considering the limited number of people that own tb devices. I guess it's a good thing devices are limited. There would have been an uproar. |

It reminds me of the old saying. "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Thunderbolt has so much potential, but it doesn't seem to be gaining much traction at this point. I really think we have to get some affordable external drives out there to get the excitement back. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini
