I just got word from my purchasing agent that our cost on hard drives, has once again went up today. So.... It looks like it may still get worse before it gets better.
That being said the entire industry doesn't get effected overnight. Ie Costco likely bought their drives a year ago and they will not be effected. Companies that have a just in time inventory system are however highly effected. Sadly these are usually the companies that traditionally have the best prices and current selections. |

I found BestBuy has WD 3TB USB 3.0 externals for $140, odd that they are the cheaper place on this one. _________________ "You must control your future by taking command of your present, and fixing and learning from your past."

I saw the WD 3TB USB 3.0 at Walmart this morning for 239.00, what a difference from Costco. I wonder if Costco even has them anymore at that price, I doubt it. _________________ Mac Mini 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM 500GB HD
