Plex and apple remote (silver one)

I have been using plex with the apple remote for a couple of months without issue. I think remote buddy recently updated as now when I press "menu" the remote buddy menu comes up instead of opening "plex" directly.

my main issue is that with in "plex" the UP button only scrolls up now and then - inconsistently??? UP works fine on all other applications and as it works now and then indicates the settings are correct. If I change the settings UP button to scroll down and DOWN button to scroll up the UP button still is temperamental???

Software:

plex 0.9.3.4
Remote buddy 1.19.1
Lion 10.7

Could it be as simple as the battery - although the UP key works fine on other apps....the issue seems to be isolated with in Plex??

Anyone else experience this?

I'm not sure, but with 10.6 Apple changed something with the IR bits, and the remote didn't work like it did with the prior versions of OS X. Perhaps if you remove Remote Buddy, and try Candleair, it might better.
