Dont you hate it and why does "ignore" in spell check delete forum posts!! (macbook)
Anyway 2nd time round!
Im [pretty] Familiar with mac/apple products and new to the mini.
For some reason I've been putting off the purchase for 18months but decided to buy one when apple released the "new" version.
The main use is for media player, using itunes and Plex for music and movies.
Id like to play [some] video games with a wireless xbox360 controller and downloan [paid] games through a source other than "steam" (i dont love the system/format/game choices)
Id also like to set up remote access which ive been unsuccesful so far - Im sure theres lots of threads on the subject to have a look at!!
Anyway thats me
Cheers

Hello there!
Let us know how everything goes! I've been wondering about setting up a 360 controller for my mini to play some games on it also, but I still haven't found/bought the receiver for it.
As for 'ignore' deleting posts, I've never had that problem. Perhaps it's an OS feature on newer versions of OS X?

Hi SC,
I managed (?) to order 2 receivers so have an extra one - I'll send you the spair if you want it? (pm an address)
The controller shows up system preferances but I've been unable to use it with "steam" games - this is normal though I think???
Cheers

I think there is some software you have to get to get OS X to be able to use the controllers.
I can't remember what it is right now...
I'll get back to you about the receiver.
