Apple Releases iPhoto 9.2.1 Update

Apple today released the iPhoto 9.2.1 Update via their Software Update Utility, Mac App Store and website for direct download. According to the company, this minor update addresses an issue that causes iPhoto to quit unexpectedly on Macs with the 3ivxVideoCodec plug-in installed. The iPhoto 9.2.1 Update weighs in at 357.18MB and requires Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later.

| I read there was a workaround by just trashing the 3ivxVideoCodec component, but I was waiting around for a fix from Apple. I'm glad they came out with one. |
