I learned of his Steve's passing on my iPhone with an alert. That's sort of strange and yet fitting to his passing. He put his dreams in our hands and forever changed our lives. _________________ 2011 Mac mini with 8GB of RAM

Yesterday morning, at work, we were wondering how the "new guy" would handle the rumored iPhone 5 release, and thinking of Apple's future without Steve Jobs as CEO, one of the best tech innovators. ...and today he's gone.
It's a sad time for everyone in the tech industry, fans and rivals alike. |

It's just an incredible loss to the tech industry and humanity. The world is certainly a little less creative tonight. |

I don't think Apple or the tech industry will ever be quite the same without Steve Jobs. He's left a gigantic hole to fill.
Rest in peace Steve. _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini

Steve was a great leader. He will continue to lead long after his death.
Although Steve will be missed dearly. I look forward to a better future because of him. He taught the world not to accept mediocrity. |

| It's hard to believe that he's gone. Stuff like this makes me want to just live each day to the fullest. You never really know how much time you have left. |

Although I know Mr. Jobs was sick for a long time, this news still came as a great shock to me. I cried when I read all the tributes to him online. Steve Jobs was a great visionary, and I can honestly say that my life has been positively enhanced by the products he envisioned and brought to fruition.
Thanks for all the insanely great stuff you introduced to us Steve, and may you rest in peace. |

I couldn't sleep tonight so I took a little drive.
First stop was the grocery store to pick up some flowers.
Then took a drive to 1 Infinite Loop and left some flowers there. There were many people there who did the same, as well as lots of media. The flags were at half-staff.
Then on the way back, stopped at Waverly Place in Palo Alto and did the same there. Many people there, not so much media. After a while, the police showed up and looked like they were blocking off the street. I didn't stick around to find out.
All this seemed a bit surreal, and to add to that feeling, I passed by a couple of separate swat teams and road blocks as they were looking for someone involved in a workplace shooting in the area. _________________ Mercury TiBook 400MHz, 1GB RAM, 120GB HD, Airport

I just heard the news. I'm upset.
Steve... the best demo you gave was when you showed us what can be achieved by a single human being in one lifetime.
Thanks, dude.
