I'm actually hoping for some type of pre-paid iPhone for around $200. I'm tired of all these 2-year contracts with the blood suckers. It might even spur on some sort of price war, cause right now they are all towing the line with higher prices and crappy data and message plans. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

CNN may have video with delay.

I wish Apple would start broadcasting these events again. It looked like they were going to start doing it again a couple back and then crickets...
The iPhone 4Gs is still a lousy idea in my book. Okay, off to Engadget. |

Tim Cook seems like a nice guy, but these events don't seem like they will be as magical without Steve Jobs at the helm. How do you really replace Willy Wonka with a business guy that is into numbers? Scott Forstall isn't that bad though. At least he comes off a little geeky and excited about things. _________________ 2011 Mac mini with 8GB of RAM

I'm listening to Macbreak Weekly on Twit. It's not live, but they are going through all the live blogs. _________________ 1.25GHz Mac Mini / 1.8GHz iMac G5 / 2.0GHz C2D Mac mini (2009)

The only interesting bit of news is Siri. Right now Siri is going to be beta on the 4s, but I imagine eventually it will become a part of all iOS and Mac OS X devices as well. There is simply no reason I can think of for them not shooting this across the line to push hardware sales. After all, if it will run on a 4s it will certainly run on a Mac.
BTW, if you think Siri is cool looking on an iphone imagine how it will improve the experience on the next iPad. _________________ Proud Cube owner. Oh, I also own a 2011 2.7ghz i7 Mac Mini. |

| Siri looks most interesting. It has to find it's way to the iPad and desktop eventually, right? How can it not? It definitely takes things to the next level of control. It all becomes multi-touch and voice for control. The mouse and keyboard are then dead. |

| A Siri application for Lion that ties into all of your applications would be awesome. Just imagine the possibilities for applications like iTunes and iPhoto, or even just browsing with Safari. |
