This may be a long shot, but here's trying.
My school district had purchased butt-tons of Performas back in the 90s. On one of these a student had installed an alien shooting game that was way fun. This is probably 10-12 years ago so my memory is a bit foggy. It had aliens in it that wore different colored suits. One of the aliens wore a robe looking thing and seemed to kind of float/hover over the floor. You shot at them with machine guns/grenade launchers/etc. It was 3-d style. I wish I could remember more about it. Anyone familiar with it? I'd like to see if I can get a hold of a copy for nostalgia's sake.
Thanks!

Played many a game of Marathon back in the day.
It's also available for free as Bungie released it to open source. You can find a more modern version with better feature support(mouse aiming) at the Aleph One site.
Marathon 2 is also available for the XBox Arcade.

OMG! You know that the Mac universe is changing when we have new Mac users that have never heard of Marathon. Now I feel really OLD!
The next thing you know we are going to hear from Mac users that ask us if we have ever heard of this thing called the floppy disk or an ancient Apple mascot named Clarus.
Sigh, I am going to go buy a cane tomorrow. I might as well get used to it.

You want to talk OLD? My first computer game was The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, affectionately known as H2G2. It was a text only game for the Apple II. _________________ "Nothing unreal exists." - Spock

Anyone remember 'Donkey' that shipped with the original IBM PCs?
