Apple has released the Migration Assistant Update for Mac OS X Leopard via their Software Update Utility and website for direct download. According to the company, this update addresses an issue with the Migration Assistant application in Mac OS X Leopard that prevents the transfer of your personal data, settings, and compatible applications from a Mac running Mac OS X Leopard to a new Mac running Mac OS X Lion. The update itself weighs in at 4.98MB and requires Mac OS X 10.5.8.

This is very common. I probably sell at least 1 or 2 Snow Leopard upgrades $29 per day. There are numerous people still running Tiger 10.4.11 I sell at least a few OS X Snow Leopard box sets for $129 to those people. |

I'm sure there are quite a few Leopard users out there with Intel-based machines. Not everyone runs the latest and greatest.
You know, I've often wondered what the usage breakdown is with Tiger, Leopard, Snow Leopard and Lion. Has Apple ever provided that type of information in their conference calls? _________________ 1.42GHz Mac mini
