|
|
I am currently downloading a huge app spliced into 6 pieces of 500 MB from 4shared but every time I leave the download overnight it stops and I can't continue it (my internet is slow).
Apparently 4shared has this desktop program that allows broken downloads to continue so this would be great for me, however I want to know how does the software work? Is it spam? Anyone uses it?
Thanks! _________________ 1.42GHz PPC mini / 2.4GHz Intel mini

So you are saying 4shared ONLY hosts illegal files? You are funny. _________________ 1.42GHz PPC mini / 2.4GHz Intel mini

Use a download manager (jdownloader, etc.). It's possible you are being limited if you're a free user. Most have limits on how much you can download in a given day. Check the link site. _________________ Mac Pro 4,1 12GB ram

Does jdownloader supports megaupload, rapidshare, etc? I have download manager for firefox and most downloads through there stop after 10 seconds (I guess those sites realize you have a download manager and just cut off the download).
Btw if anyonw wonders I tried 4shared desktop and its a java app it was not intrusive but its just for uploading stuff, it only downloads stuff you have on your 4shared folder. I already deleted it. _________________ 1.42GHz PPC mini / 2.4GHz Intel mini
